Meet The Artist
Born and raised in British Columbia, Jen began her apprenticeship in May of 2021. She spent two years as an apprentice, navigating the trials and tribulations of beginning a new career at 26, but has never been happier with her chosen path.
Specializing in bold, bright, “technicolor” style tattooing, Jen aims to capture your inner child’s essence and strives to bring your wildest, boldest ideas to life. At Very Uncool Tattoos, we only use the highest quality inks that will stand the test of time. Our tattoo inks are also vegan & cruelty free!
Jen has spent the last five years cultivating a tattoo experience for weirdos and wallflowers alike. Whether you want a meaningful symbol to commemorate something close to your heart, or emblazon your entire arm with silly cartoon characters, Jen will embark on that mission with you.
From the moment she started getting tattooed at 18, she knew this was something that could heal people.
“I knew what tattoos had done for me and my self esteem throughout my life. If I can make you leave our session loving a part of your body you've never loved before, I've done my job.”
-Jen on why she became a tattoo artist.
The Studio
Located in South Chilliwack, British Columbia, Jen wanted to create the feeling of stepping back into your childhood bedroom, rather than into your typical tattoo shop. The idea was to create the antithesis of a tattoo studio, with bright pink walls, cute toys and figurines everywhere, it’s hard not to feel right at home upon entering.
Cleanliness and safety is the top priority. Thorough sanitation and cleaning per Fraser Health requirements is conducted before and after each client. All needles are discarded after single use, and all other items are disposable.
If you have any questions at all regarding cleaning/sanitation process or products used, please do not hesitate to reach out.
